2008 SUMMER CAMP GENERAL INFORMATION

*Registration Fee: $75 per child (non-refundable). For new families only. Includes camp tee-shirt, supplies, and liability insurance.

*Tuition: Includes field trip admissions, daily snack, transportation, guest entertainers, and unlimited extended care (Kindercamp, Adventure Camp, and Travel Camp only), except as otherwise noted on calendar. Billing will occur per session and must be paid in advance. All sessions reserved in advance must be paid regardless on non-attendance. Sunshine reserves busses, tickets, and hires staff based on weeks reserved by parents, therefore no refunds can be given. See below for our cancellation policy.

CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS

*CANCELLATION POLICY

Sunshine offers a 100% no penalty cancellation policy if the cancellation is made prior to the deadline. However, as noted above, to receive a full refund the change must be made prior to the deadline.
• The deadline to cancel a week of camp from session one is Friday, May 29
• The deadline to cancel a week of camp for session two is Friday, June 26

A week may be cancelled after the cancellation deadline. However, if a week is cancelled after the deadline, you will be required to pay as follows (NOT AVAILABLE WITH TRAVEL CAMP EXCURSIONS):
• To receive the 50% refund,you must provide at least a one week notice for the cancellation.
• Cancelling a week with less than one week notice will require a 100% payment for the tuition cost of that particular week, regardless of reason for non-attendance.

 

CAMP HOURS & OTHER INFORMATION

*Camp Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Field trip days 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Later on long distance trips). Extended Care is available from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at no additional cost.

*Lunches: Campers must provide their own lunch, unless otherwise noted. On some field trip days parents may be required to send money. Due to theme parks not allowing lunches into their premises, money may need to be sent on several trips. A nutritious snack will be provided during mid-morning and late afternoon hours.

Hot lunch is available at most locations for $5 per day. Hot lunch is delivered via a third party company. Hot lunch menus are provided and may be ordered as late as the morning of camp.

*Enrollment: Enrollment is limited and is taken on a first come, first served basis. Priority is given to current Sunshine families.

*Field Trips: Alternative care cannot be provided on field trip days. Sunshine cannot guarantee exact return times from trips.

*Adventure Camp Deposit (families not enrolled in our afterschool program): A $50.00 deposit is required for each week you reserve. This deposit is per child. This deposit will be subtracted from your tuition rate.
