Chief Executive Officer
Chad Ottaviano began his career with Sunshine Day Camp in November 1992 as a counselor. While completing his college education, he remained dedicated to the organization, taking on a variety of roles. In 2004, Chad transitioned into management as the Director of the Valencia Valley location.
Chad’s journey progressed as he led several program locations, including Pico Canyon and Oak Hills, before advancing into key leadership roles as Regional Director and later Chief Operating Officer, where he honed his expertise in managing teams and driving organizational success.
Chad brings extensive experience and education to his role as Chief Executive Officer. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology, with a focus on child development, and a Master’s Degree in Business.
As CEO, Chad oversees the daily operations of Sunshine Day Camp, including programming, personnel, and parent relations, ensuring the continued success and growth of the organization.
